Only Ayala-owned Airswift flies in and out from Lio airport. Airport staff are courteous and friendly. Arrivals and departures are almost always on time. Airport management seems effective as the place is clean and with streamlined processing of passengers. Arrivals are just a hassle due to the very narrow and small driveway to pick up passengers. Maybe make a system for resort van pick ups?
Super relaxed tiny airport surrounded by jungle growing right up to the door. Go to Nio Beach next door to get a close look at the flights coming in over the water. Coffee stand in the waiting area. Gate closes about 30 or 40 minutes before the flight. No need to get here more than a hour before the flight. Cost of a tribike from El Nido is about 300p.
Ayala owned small cozy airport, that can accomodate flights in and out of El Nido. Fscilities are nice, airport is clean and well maintianed.

The airport is very cute and small. Perfect size. Easy for arrival and departure. Only the ground staff was very bad in handling our 2 hours delay. We didnt get any information what was going on.
Beautiful airport. Security was smooth to get through. The staff were friendly. They still make you wear masks in the waiting area and plane, but not through security or while checking into your flight. (March 2023) hopefully they change that and remove the masking. There is a small cafe with decent coffee in the waiting area which is nice.
Not so big of an airport but it conveniently serves its purpose. Barely have restaurants at the airport, just a few small kiosks with limited selection at, of course, airport prices.
Staff of AirSwift airlines (not so sure if this is the only airline here) are courteous and accommodating.
I intentionally brought a lighter with me, thinking that i can dispose of it once i get to the boarding area. Upon checking at the x-ray machine, my luggage and other bags passed without a question or confiscating it. To my surprise, it was the only screening machine that I had to pass through then the next one was already boarding the gate. I went to the comfort room and threw away the lighter before i got on the plane.
I hope they have more strict security checking for peace of mind and everyone's safety.
El Nido airport is small and usually caters to direct flights of Air Swift from Manila to El Nido. It is more expensive but highly recommended than the six-hour van trip from Puerto Princesa to El Nido. It is comfortable and near the Lio Beach so you get a good view of El Nido.
Very Nice Small Airport. You will not feel any stress here as there are no crowds. This is a Very Pretty Airport too.
At the Entrance there are some stores and a Fries Stall, inside are 2 stores selling drinks and light snacks. Only Airline that flies here is Air Swift, if you are a guest of The El Nido Resorts, there is a Seperate Area for you.
